HEY:-)

Basophils

Basophils are a type of white blood cells (leucocyte) that get stained by basic dyes. They serve as part of our immune system. They are around 1 % of the total WBC. They are produced in the bone marrow. These are granulocytes as they have granules. Basophils release histamine during allergic reactions. Basophils also secrete heparin which is a natural blood thinner.

Basophils

Basophils are a type of white blood cell. These cells are produced in your bone marrow. Normally, basophils make up less than 1 percent of your circulating white blood cells. A healthy range is 0 to 3 basophils in each microliter of blood. A low basophil level is called basopenia.
