Bastar is located in souther most part of the state of Chattisgarh.
It has a common border wih Andhra Pradesh, Orisa and Maharashtra
It also refers to the Bhumkal rebellion of 1910.
The measure cause of the rebellion was the declaration of Forrest as reserved areas in 1908, by the British.
