Butter paper (sometimes called as sandwich paper) does not have a non-stick surface, so it should not be used for baking, but instead e.g. for protecting the chopping board when preparing for instance fish, raw meat, onion, chili or beetroot, or for packaging and wrapping fatty and moist food for instance when going for a picnic.
