  • Bengal vimochana movement was launched after the Bengal partition. For British India, Bengal was their major province however they decided to part it.
  • Upon partition, a swadeshi movement was launched in Bengal as a protest campaign which provided a push to initiate the Boycott movement in the country. It ignites anti-colonial protests throughout the nation.
  • There were many secret associations with revolutionary concepts. It is closely related to the peasantry and more of a liberation struggle. Later Gandhi launched many effective movements whose sole concept was based on the same.
