First thing is aptitude.
A student has a natural aptitude for going to the technical line or non-technical education.
Both can fetch job is completed satisfactorily.
The technical line has better job prospects no doubt provided one make a good result.
Study of BCOM is advisable if one has to continue in a financial career.
Advantages of Polytechnic-If you have a technical certificate, there are job prospect.
You may become a junior engineer and can apply in the jobs like JE, loco pilot, technical assistant and many more.
If you understand well and do hard work that will be greater than BCOM.
You may get lateral admission in B.tech in the Second year directly.
