bhakti movement is a movement in which all the saints roam everywhere preaching good messages about humanity & other religious matters. in this they also tell about god & tell the people to worship them. they sing various bhajans & songs related to the god . meerabai shankaracharya & other famous saints from all parts of india roamed everywhere preaching singing & telling about the various gods & goddesses.the saints were further categorised as :

shavities ( who worshipped lord shiva)
vaishnavities(who worshipped vishnu)
