According to the big bang theory there was once a huge mass of dust spiralling all over in space collecting everything.However due to excessive mass it burst one day .Due to this explosion ,all the planets and stars were formed .the other parts which were not as big turned into asteroids etc. This was how celestial bodies came into being ,according to bigbang theory
