Bile is a digestive juice made by the liver and stored in the gall bladder.

It is used up in the small intestine to emulsify fat during digestion.

* Liver is the largest gland in the body, which is located in the upper right side of the abdominal cavity.

* It is dark red and spongy in colour.

* Liver consists of two loves namely; right lobe and left lobe. The right lobe is larger and left lobe is smaller.

* A thin sac; called gall bladder is present in the lower side of right lobe.

→ It helps in digestion of lipids in small intestine.

→ It kills the germs present in food.

→ It also carries excess cholestrol out of the body.

→ It reduces the acidic content of enzyme.
