The parent cell divides to form two similiar daughter cells.

Ex. Amoeba Paramoecium,euglena etc.

It is a type of asexual reproduction in which a parent cell breaks in two to produce two individual living cells.And the parental identity is lost.

Eg:-Amoeba.
