Binary stars are the stars which arise from the same parent star and after they are formed and that's again a process they revolve around each other untill they meet some other object to hit and change the orbit of them or they just gobble each other by revolving around each other due to their mutual gravitational attraction if I remember there is one example that would be of MIRA A AND MIRA B. There is a particular range of distance that they are located from their parent star or you could say one of them is a parent out of 2
