\huge\underline\green{\sf Binding\:Energy :-}

Total Mechanical energy (Potential+ kinetic ) of a closed system is negative. The modulus of this Mechanical energy is known as Binding Energy of the system. This is the energy due to which system is bounded or different part of the system are bound to eachother.

\large{\sf BE = -TE}

\large{\boxed{\sf BE = KE =-TE ={\frac{-PE}{2}}}}

Here ,

BE = Binding Energy

PE = Potential Energy

KE = Kinetic Energy

Binding energy: It is of a Nucleus is the Energy Required to Assemble all the neutrons and Protons Together to Form the Nucleus. It is the Same Energy Required to break the Nucleus into its Constituent Protons and Neutrons.

The Binding Energy(Eb) of a nucleus is the Energy Required to Completely Separate the nucleons...

Hope it's Helps u........
