The binomial nomenclature system combines two names into one to give all species unique scientific names. The first part of a scientific name is called the genus. The second part of a species name is the specific epithet.

Heya!!!

Binomial nomenclature
Means,
Naming the organisms with their scientific name is called binomial nomenclature.
Rules:-
While writing the name ,the first name should be of its genus and the second name of its species.

The genus name should start with a capital letter and species name should be in small letters.

While writing it should be printed in italics.

If the name is handwritten the name should be underlined.

Hope it helps
