The following measures should be applied:-

1) In village, excessive irrigation should be stopped otherwise it will damage their crops as well as the environment. In towns, Dumping of garbages in rivers as well as near lakes should be stopped.

2)Excessive use of chemical and harmful fertilizers should be prevented in villages and In towns, Releasing of harmful radioactive substances from industries to nearby rivers or Lakes should be stopped.
