genetic , species and ecosystem level are the very basis of human existence on earth. It provides ecological services in terms of provisioning, regulatory, cultural and economic to the humankind. Biodiversity is the insurances for human survival, genetic pool for food, medicine, clothing, and many of our daily requirements. It helps in the mitigation and adaptation to climate change by providing carbon sink and natural defence against disasters. Biodiversity helps in climate amelioration by bringing rains and regulating climate and weather. Biodiversity is source of our food, water, nutrition and health security.
