Biogas is the biofuel and tends to methane formation. Biogas is widely used nowadays as fuel. The biogas is derived out from source like green waste, agricultural waste, cow dung, manure, plant material, food waste.

The steps involved in obtaining Biogas:

Biogas is prepared by following method by using cattle dung

• Mixing the cow dung and water.

• Digesting which includes the cattle dung undergoing decomposition by anaerobic bacteria.

• The microbial insolates responsible for such reaction is Bacillus licheniformis, Escherichia coli and Clostridium species.
