Answer:

'Bio' means life and 'logy' means to study. Biology is essentially the study of life forms. Biology is the science of life forms and living processes. It's the science which gives you a chance to explore the existing lives present on earth and to unveil/discover the unexplored and undefined life forms or living processes still existing on earth.

It is also the tale of how the living community on earth reached the present scenario as we see today. It also describes how the whole living community grew over time and what determines the existence and the process describing the continuation of different life forms on earth.
