Blood is a transporting fluid in our body.
function-
Supplies oxygen to all parts of the body
circulates digested nutrients
Provides essential nutrients to the cells such as amino acid,fatty acid etc
Transports hormones

Blood:-

Its a mobile fluid and a connective tissue of reddish colour that circulates in the human body.

Functions of blood:

1. Transporting nutrients:- The blood transports sugar, amino acids, vitamins picked up from small intestine and transports it to different parts of body.

2.Transport of Oxygen:- It transports oxygen in the form of oxyheamoglobin.

3. Transport of Carbon-di-oxide:- Some amount of Carbon-dioxide is transported by blood in the form of carbaminohaemoglobin.

4. Transporting waste products:- The blood carries nitrogeneous wastes from various parts of the body to kidneys for separation.

5.Maintain water balance:- The blood provides water and salts in area of deficiency in body and removes them from the area where they are present in excessive amount by circulation.

6. Regulating Body Temperature:- Blood distributes heat energy evenly to all parts of the body.

7. Defence:- Blood contains WBCs which helps in phagocytosis that's killing of germs etc.
