✯BLOOD : blood is the most important fluid connective tissue. it is red coloured. colour is bright red in oxygenated form and purple in deoxygenated form. in a adult human being about 5-5.5 litres of blood is present.


✯FUNCTION :
►blood transports nutrients and hormones from one part of the body to other.it transport metabolic wastage from tissues to the liver and kidney.
► blood platelets help in clotting of blood.

There are main three functions of blood :-
transport, protection and regulation.
Blood transports the following substances :-
Gases, namely oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide(CO2) between the lungs and the rest of the body..
Nutrients from the digestive tract and storage sites to the rest of body....
