Heya__❤️

Blood is a body fluid in human and other animals that delivers necessary substances such as nutrients and oxygen to the cell.

Blood is red because of the hemoglobin present in RBC.

Functions of blood are:-

  • It transports gases namely o2 and co2 between the lungs and rest of the body.
  • WBC destroy invading microorganisms and cancer cells.
  • Blood helps to regulate water balance by transferring water to and from tissue, etc.

Answer:

Explanation:

blood is a fluid connective tissue in our body. It has a pigment called haemoglobin that gives it the red colour. Its function is to transport various gases(co2), nutrients etc across the body. It's main function to transport when oxygen combines with the pigment haemoglobin to form oxyhaemoglobin and transportation becomes faster and smoother.

Hope it helps;)
