Body Plan is a basis of classification which is used during classification in animal kingdom. There are three types of body plan;

1. Cellular Aggregation; which includes porifera

2. Blind sac; which includes animals with single opening, a common passage for both ingestion & egestion as coelentrata, platyhelminthes & ctenophora.

3. Tube With Tube; which includes animals with two openings, one for ingestion & another for egestion as animals from aschelminthes to chordata.
