★ Bohr's Model was proposed by Niel's Bohr.

★ Electrons revolve around the Nucleus in a circular orbit .

★ Orbits are associated with the definite fixed amount of energy. These orbits are called as stationary States energy level or shells.

★ The energy levels or shells are designed by letters K, L, M, O, P, Q etc.. The K orbit or the first orbit is nearest to the nucleus and has the lowest enrgy..

★ The energy of an electron remains constant in a particular Orbit ..

★ When an electron jumps from low energy levels to higher energy level it absorbs energy but when it jumps from higher energy level to lower energy level energy is emitted.

Energy is lost or gainbin definite packets called Quantum or Photon .
