In chemistry, pi bonds are covalent chemical bonds where two lobes of an orbital on one atom overlap two lobes of an orbital on another atom.

Pi bonds are those bonds which are formed by overlapping of orbital laterally of the atoms ....the 8 number shaped orbitals overlap laterally to form bonds ...
the pi bonds consists of the pi electrons ...usually the double bong contains one pi bond and the triple bond contains two pi bonds....
