When there is more than one bond (sigma bond) in any structure then it's referred as π bond .π - bond is weaker then sigma bond
For eg. -- Alkane -- It doesn't has any π bond
Alkene -- It has 1 π bond and 1 sigma bond
Alkyne --- It has 2 π bond and 1 sigma bond
