Coelom of Leech is filled with a characteristic tissue called botryoidal tissue , it is resembling a bunch of grapes .

Their function ranges from excretion to storage of iron , calcium , revascularization in areas of injury etc.

In hirudenia,parenchyma and connective tissue that invade the coelom . It contains the grape like masses of cells containing.a brown pigment and may serve an excretory function.......
