At constant Temperature (T), the Volume (V) of a given mass of gas is inversally proportional to it's Pressure (P).

i.e.


$V$ $\alpha$ $\frac{1}{P}$

(At constant Temperature)


$V\:=$ $\frac{k}{P}$


$PV\:=\:k$


$P1V1\:=\:k$


$P2V2\:=\:k$

Here,k = Constant


So,


$\textbf{P1V1\:=\:P2V2}$
