Brenna heads up leadership and adventure programming with the Great Outdoor Adventure Leadership Series (GOALS). Her projects include High School GOALS, Middle School GOALS, San Diego GOALS, SD LEADS, Nature Now, the Middle School Take Action Campaign, and PE. Brenna hails from El Paso, Texas where she learned a love of desert thunderstorms, and received her bachelor’s in Political Science and History from UCLA, where she fell in love with outdoor education as part of the UCLA Outdoor Leadership Training Program. At UCLA, she worked for four years at the UCLA High Ropes Course, leading hundreds of groups through team building, low ropes, and high ropes progressions. After beginning with arc as a part-time guide running camping and day trips, Brenna has now been with the company for five years, gaining certifications as a Wilderness First Responder, Waterfront Lifeguard, and Wilderness First Aid. When she’s not running team building programs or adventure trips, Brenna can be found hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains with her terrier, Elsa, or kayaking with her husband around the Malibu shoreline.
