it is the moment exhibited by the particles of matter when suspended in fluid. It is observed in all types of collidal suspensions
Answer:
What is Brownian Movement?
Robert Brown was the scientist who first of all discovered Brownian movement. He suspended some pollen grains in water and watched their movement under a microscope. He found that the pollen grains were moving in zig-zag directions.
The pollen grains moved faster when the water was warm. He concluded that water is made of some invisible particles which are moving very fast. In doing so pollen grains are hit constantly by fast moving particles of water causing them to move randomly.
Also we must have seen the sunlight entering a dark room from a window. There we can see the random movement of dust particles of air causing them to move in zig-zag directions. This zig-zag movement of particles suspended in air or water is called Brownian movement.
