Bryophytes are an informal group of non-vascular land plants, the liverworts, hornworts and mosses..
They are characteristically limited in size and prefer moist habitats, though they can survive in drier conditions..

Thallopyta, Bryophyta, pteridophyta, gymnosperms and angiosperms
Bryophyta is more developed phylum than thallopyta which has no vascular system , cannot be distinguished into roots,stem,leaves.... It has a false root named rhizoid and have thallus like structure....
