Its pH changes very little when a small amount of strong acidor base is added to it. many systems that use buffering for pH regulation. For example, the bicarbonate buffering system is used to regulate the pH of blood.

The solution that resist change in their pH on dilutions or on addition small amount of acid or alkalies are called buffer solution.

There are 3 type of buffer solution.

Natural Solution

Acidic Solution

Basic Solution.
