✔✔ The main aim of the scheme :-

▶ Stabilizing prices

▶ ensure supply of food

▶ Prevent farmers/producers going out of business because of a drop in prices.

THESE STOCKS ARE RELEASED IN CASE OF SHORTAGE OF SUPPLY .

IN INDIA FOOD CORPORATION INDIA ( FCI ) ACCUMULATES FOODGRAINS AS BUFFER STOCKS.
