Both body will experience same buoyant force.
Explanation:
- Buoyant force is force act by fluid on object, when object displaced fluid.
- Formula of buoyant force is
...1)
Where
= value of buoyant force on object by fluid
= density of fluid
= volume of fluid displaced by object
g = gravitation acceleration
- From equation 1) it is clear that
- Buoyant force is depend upon density of fluid. Means fluid which have higher density exert higher buoyant force.
- Buoyant force is also depend upon volume of fluid displaced by object.Means if object displaced large volume of fluid, it exert large buoyant force.
- Buoyant force is also depend upon gravitation acceleration. Means if object in satellite, there will no buoyant force due to value of gravitational acceleration is zero.
- Now come to question
- Here size of both object is same means both object have same volume.
- Both are completely submerged means both object displaced same volume of fluid.
- Density of fluids is same for both object.
- Gravitation acceleration is also same for both object.
- So both body experience same buoyant force.
