CaCO3 is Calcium Carbonate.

It is found in nature in the form of limestone, chalk, marble ect.

It is white fluffy powder.

It is almost insoluble in water.

It can be prepared by pasing CO2 through slaked lime also called Calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2 or by addition of Sodium Carbonate to calcium chloride.

Uses

it is used in building materials in the form of marbles and manufacturing quicklime.

It is used in manufacturing paper

used tooth paste, chewing gums & filler of cosmetic
