W call that sound as chirping. We don't say that birds are talking or making sound we just say that the birds are chirping.

A birds mouth is called a beak. Birds can use their beak to peck ( hit or pic up) trees to get insects, or to pick up food from the ground....Shriek/cry= a very loud, piercing sound made by a bird. hoot=the deep sound made by an owl. caw= sound make by a crow
