Callus is the hard formation of tissue, especially new tissue formed over a wound.

Hope it helps!

Jhani: in living plants callus cells are those cells that cover a plant wound. Callus formation is induced from plant tissue sampled after surface sterilization and planting onto tissue culture medium invitro.
Jhani: then what else meaning is there of callus?
Jhani: its the only one related to plant tissue culture
Jhani: okay sure
Jhani: did you get that??
Jhani: okay
Jhani: pls mark it best if understood
