believe that with hard work and determination one can achieve their goals. I have come to this conclusion from my experience. Although that experience is limited as of now, I also have associated with people who have come to the same conclusion. I will continue to believe this so that I have a reason to continue working hard.
Working hard is the best way to achieve the goals that you have for yourself. It gives you a sense of satisfaction which motivates you to continue with your work. I have many goals for myself that can only be achieved with hard work. My goal is to become a neurosurgeon. I have other goals that go along with that one; however, that is the most important. I try to work as hard as I can in school because I know that I must if I have a chance at succeeding.
The way I try to better myself is by taking courses that are honors and advanced placement courses. I believe that by pushing yourself academically, you will achieve your goals. Keeping high grades and striving for success will ultimately help you be where you want in life. I also believe you need to be actively involved in extra-curricular activities inside and outside of school. Joining clubs and volunteer work is also extremely important to show you are a well rounded person. I belong to several clubs and am a part of The Girl Scouts of America. I tutor students on my own time to help them achieve their goals as well. This summer I will be going to six countries in Europe with the People to People organization. I will be representing the United States as a student ambassador. This is a very important task for me as I will be learning about the workings of the countries I will visit as well as representing the United States. The countries that I will be visiting are Germany, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands and Switzerland. I believe you need to learn as much as you can, whenever you can, to achieve your goals.
