1.  Bone canaliculi are microscopic canals between the lacunae of ossified bone. The radiating processes of the osteocytes project into these canals. These cytoplasmic processes are joined together by gap junctions.

2. Any of the minute tubes which form a network in bone and contain blood vessels is classified as Harvesian canals.
