Cardiac arrest is a sudden stoppage of heart. In this, the heart stops working for a brief period of time.
The thing that should be known is that cardiac arrest differs from heart attack.
In a heart attack, the working of heart stops due to the blockage of blood flow in it, while, in a cardiac arrest, the heart stops functioning unexpectedly.

Hey friend here is your answer.....
Answer :-
Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops beating suddenly and blood stops flowing around the body . A person who has a cardiac arrest usually becomes unconscious, has no pulse and may stop breathing or breath abnormally. if not treated quickly, cardiac arrest results in death. Cardiac arrest may result from my lack of oxygen, severe blood loss, heart attack on malfunctioning of the electrical conduction system of the heart . Cardiac arrest is treated with external cardiac massaging (chest compressions ) and blowing air into the patient's lungs at intervals to keep oxygenated blood circulating through the body. This process is called cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) A device called defibrillator is ultimately used to give electric shock through the chest to restart the heart or restore its natural rhythm.
Most people confuse heart attack with cardiac arrest while heart attack is caused by lack of blood flow to the heart muscles, a cardiac arrest can be caused by many conditions, including a heart attack .
Hope it helps you.......
