it is related to thermodynamics
it state that
a) a heat engine working between the two given temperature T1 of hot reservoir i.e. source and T2 of cold reservoir i.e shink cannot have efficiency more then that of carnot engine.
now carnot cycle:- it is based on carnot theorem . which working consists of four steps. isothermal expansion , adiabatic expansion , isothermal compression and adiabatic compression . from this cycle we prove Q2/(Q1-Q2)=T2/(T1-T2)
