Photosynthesis in desert plants.

Explanation:

Water is considered as the main substance that is needed for the growth of the plant. The desert plants also get their nourishment through the process of photosynthesis like any other plants. In this type of desert plants the leaves and stems open to retain the Co2 from the air through the little pores which is also called stomata. These little pores do not open till night. The desert plant assimilates the carbon dioxide and shapes a transitional. Thus stomata closes and avoid the loss of water at the daytime and put away the carbon dioxide in order to perform photosynthesis.
