What is CAT Exam?
The Common Admission Test or CAT is a management aptitude test, conducted by the IIMCAT for admission to the IIMs and over 1000 other b-schools in India. The CAT exam is conducted by one of the IIMs on behalf of IIMCAT, in online mode at various test centres in over 147 cities. The CAT question paper consists of 100 questions in MCQ format from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. CAT 2018 was held on November 25, 2018 and the result was announced on January 5, 2019.
CAT exam is held in November/December and the application process begins in August. The date of CAT 2019 will be announced by the CAT conducting body, IIMCAT, in June/July 2019. CAT registration 2019 will be done in online and the process will last for about one month. The registration fee is Rs 1900.
