A substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change is called a catalyst.
the process in which plants respire anaerobically that is in the absence of oxygen or the process in which plants break down food in absence of oxygen is called anaorobic respiration . eg. anaerobic bacteria
