\huge\mathfrak{Answer:-}

Cathode rays flow from cathode to anode in straight lines unless influenced by electrical or magnetic field.

⭐ These rays are negatively charged particles.

  • Cathode rays particles are in all matter.They are infact electrons, there properties are independent of the material of electrode and the nature of gas present in tube.
  • These rays are themselves not visible but there behaviour can be detected by fluorescent materials like zinc sulphide which glows when hit by them.
