The pressure exerted by a liquid increases with depth and it acts in all directions. As such the upward force exerted by the liquid on the bottom of an object is more than the downward force acting on the top of the object .Thus, there is a net force acting on the object in the upward direction and this is the cause of the buoyant force.

Answer:

Buoyant Force is the caused by pressure and exerted by a fluid on a body/object which is completely or partially submerged into it (fluid). Buoyancy (/ ˈbɔɪənsi, ˈbuːjənsi /) or upthrust, is an upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of a partially or fully immersed object.
