Cell is the basic structural and functional unit of life,Every living organism on earth is made up of cell that's why it is known as basic structural unit of life.
And all the metabolic activities such as Respiration,Excretion,Digestion and Reproduction occurs at the cells level Thats why it's called the functional unit of life.
