cell cycle is the series of events including synthesis of proteins ,RNA and other constituants of cells, replication of DNA, duplication of various cell organelle and eventually division of parents cell into daughter cell
it is mainly divided into two phase
1) interphase (resting phase)
it is divided into three phase they are
a)G1 phase
b)S phase
c)G2phase
2)M phase(most dramatic phase)
it includes of two phase
1) karyokinesis
2)cytokinesis

Answer:
"A series of various events that results in formation of new cells from the mother cell is together called cell cycle. " The cell cycle mainly has 2phases the Interphase and the M-phase. Interphase is again divided into G1 phase, S phase and G2phase.
Explanation:
Apparently the Interphase is a non-dividing phase where the cell prepares itself for division. And the growth, synthesis and proofreading occurs during this phase and the entire nuclear content is doubled. The M- phase is the phase is the dividing phase when karyokinesis and cytokinesis occurs. It is short and lasts for about one hour.
