Hello Mate,
1.The cell membrane (also known as the plasma membrane or cytoplasmic membrane, and historically referred to as the plasmalemma) is a biological membrane that separates the interior of all cells from the outside environment (the extracellular space). It consists of a lipid bilayer with embedded proteins.
2.SPM stands for Suspended Particulate Matter.

Cell membrane and plasma membrane are the same. It is the outermost covering of an animal cell enclosing cytoplasm. It is referred as semi permeable membrane because of it's ability to allow passage of only selected molecules to pass through it.
