heya !!!

☆The Cell theory states that all organisms composed of similar units of organization called cells .

☆The concept was formally articulated in 1839 by SCHLEIDEN AND SCHAWANN and has remained as the foundation of modern biology .

》》The oberservation of cells was summarized into 3 CONCLUSIONS :-

⊙The cell is the unit of structure, physiology and organization in living things .

⊙The cell retains a dual existence as a distinct entity and a building block in the construction of organisms .

⊙The cells form by free - cell formation , similar to the formation of crystals ( spontaneous generation ).

☆As the first two tenets are correct and third one is clearly wrong , Rudolph Virchow's formally enunciated - "All CELLS ONLY ARISE FROM PRE EXISTING CELLS ".

》》MODERN CELL THEORY :-

⊙All known living things are made up of cells.

⊙The cell is structural and functional unit of living things .

⊙All cells come from pre existing cells by division ( spontaneous generation does not occur )

⊙Cells contain hereditary information which is passed from cell to cell during cell division.

⊙All cells are basically same in chemical composition .

⊙All energy ( metabolism and biochemistry) occurs within cells .

hope it helps u dear ^_^

Explanation:

All living organisms are composed of one or more cells. The cell is the basic unit of structure and organization in organisms. Cells arise from pre-existing cells.

Matthias Jakob Schleiden was a German botanist and co-founder of cell theory, along with Theodor Schwann and Rudolf Virchow. :
