Cell is a 'Latin word' which means - little room. The basic and functional unit of life of living organisms is called cell.

Mitochondria is a type of cell organnele. They are the site of cellular respiration and therefore are also known as ' power house of a cell '.

Latex is an excretory, milky fluid present in plants.

Plasmodesmata are the tranverse channels which enables communication and transportation between two cells.
