Process of oxidising or breakdown of food molecules such as glucose to carbon dioxide and water is called as cellular respiration
It consists two phases or processes they are:-
1.Glycolysis-glucose is converted into pyruvic acid
2.oxidation of pyruvic acid into CO2 and water
