..... a straight line that passes through the centre of curvature and to the pole is known as principal axis.....
the centre of the circle of which mirror is a part that centre is known as centre of curvature

Pole is mod point of mirror
Principal axis is an imaginary line passing through pole and center of curvature
Center of curvature is center of the mirror(I.e radius point)
